Audi Philippines has added to its hybrid range with a higher-spec version of the Q5 and the local debut of two performance models, the SQ5 Sportback Hybrid and S5 Sedan Hybrid.
The new arrivals join the Q3 Hybrid and Q5 Hybrid, which entered the market earlier this year. Together, the models give Audi a broader selection that covers compact and midsize sport utility vehicles as well as faster S variants.
The Q5 remains central to the lineup. Audi Philippines is now offering it in S line trim, which adds sportier exterior details and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The cabin gets its own S line touches, along with a panoramic sunroof and a Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System.
Its 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine works with Audi’s hybrid system and a seven-speed S tronic transmission. Power goes to the front wheels.
The same basic package keeps the Q5 focused on daily use, while the S line adds more visual character and extra cabin equipment.
Audi also introduced the SQ5 Sportback Hybrid, which comes with more power and quattro all-wheel drive. Its 3.0-liter TFSI V6 hybrid engine produces 391 horsepower and 550 Newton-meters of torque. A seven-speed S tronic transmission sends power to all four wheels.
Arriving in Sportback form, the SQ5 has a coupe-like roof that gives it a different profile from the standard Q5. Buyers may still order the regular SUV body, while adaptive air suspension helps balance comfort with sharper road manners.
Audi gives the S5 Sedan Hybrid the same 3.0-liter V6 hybrid system found in the SQ5. It produces 391 horsepower and 550 Nm, with quattro all-wheel drive and a seven-speed S tronic transmission.
Audi has fitted the S5 with power-adjustable front sport seats and a memory function for the driver. A head-up display places key information within the driver’s view, while a panoramic glass roof and Bang & Olufsen sound system add to the cabin equipment.
The Q3 Hybrid remains the smallest model in the group. It uses a 1.5-liter TFSI hybrid engine that produces 150 horsepower and 250 Nm. Power goes to the front wheels through a seven-speed S tronic transmission.
Audi Philippines is using the expanded range to give local buyers more hybrid choices without dropping the driving character associated with the brand.
