The Philippine Readers and Writers Festival (PRWF) is making its long-awaited return this August, bringing together book lovers for a celebration of literature, storytelling and Filipino creativity.

The free festival is expected to once again gather readers, authors, publishers, illustrators, and content creators for a series of talks, workshops, book signings, panel discussions, and other activities designed to promote reading and the local publishing industry.

Attendees can look forward to discovering new releases, meeting their favorite writers, exploring a wide range of genres — from romance and fantasy to mystery, horror, and nonfiction — and connecting with fellow members of the country's growing literary community.

This year's edition is presented in partnership with National Book Store and Komikon, continuing the festival's mission of making books and literature more accessible to Filipino readers of all ages.

The 2026 PRWF will be on 14 to 16 August at the NBS Building in Araneta City, Cubao.

More details, including the complete schedule, participating authors, and venue information, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
