Around 5,941 individuals or 1,827 families are affected by the adverse weather condition brought about by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and Typhoon "Inday" across the Province of Iloilo on 12 July 2026.
According to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Operations Center (PDRRMOC), they are closely monitoring the weather condition that battered the Province of Iloilo.
The PDRRMOC stated that 66 families or 284 individuals are currently staying inside evacuation centers, while 894 families or 3,001 individuals are temporarily staying outside evacuation centers.
The agency stated that seven evacuation centers remain operational.
The PDRRMOC reported that seven houses damaged, with three of the houses were totally damaged and four were partially damaged).
"Weather-related incidents, including flooding, rain-induced landslides, roadside erosion, and bridge collapse, have been reported in several municipalities. One casualty has also been recorded due to a rain-induced landslide," the PDRRMOC stated.
"The PDRRMOC, together with all concerned LGUs and response agencies, remains on BLUE ALERT and continues to conduct monitoring, coordination, evacuation, and response operations to ensure the safety and well-being of affected communities."
"The public is advised to remain vigilant, monitor official advisories from PAGASA and the PDRRMO Iloilo Operations Center, and immediately coordinate with your respective LGUs in case of emergencies."
