Labor and Employment Secretary Francis Tolentino ranked among the top-performing Cabinet officials in the Marcos administration in a public satisfaction survey released by market research firm Tangere.
Tolentino placed fourth among Cabinet members, securing a 42 percent satisfaction rating in the poll conducted from 23 to 27 June.
The nationwide survey measured public satisfaction with the performance and leadership of individual Cabinet officials, tracking voter perception of government service delivery, responsiveness and effectiveness.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) said the results back Tolentino’s goals to position the agency as a top performer through reforms focused on job placement, worker welfare, and labor-management relations.
Tolentino has previously stated that the department's policies and programs must be consistently guided by the law, workers' welfare and economic growth.
The survey polled 1,500 participants nationwide through a mobile application. Tangere used a stratified random quota sampling method to select respondents during the five-day polling period.
