Designed for convenience, the overnight voyage allows passengers to board in the evening, enjoy a restful journey, and arrive in Cebu by early afternoon — ready to continue with business meetings, family visits, or leisure activities on the same day.
“By eliminating the need to travel to Manila before boarding, the new route saves valuable travel time for passengers, particularly those from Southern Luzon, making Cebu more accessible than ever,” the statement read.
The route is served by MV 2GO Masikap, offering comfortable accommodations and 2GO Travel’s signature onboard experience.
Further, passengers will also enjoy a 50-kilogram baggage allowance and a wide range of onboard amenities, including restaurants, a coffee shop, salon and spa, souvenir shop, karaoke rooms, an arcade, a medical clinic, and nightly live entertainment.
“At 2GO, our customers remain at the center of every business decision we make. We continuously look for ways to make travel more convenient and accessible,” said Francis Chua, Business Unit head of 2GO Travel.
“Our new direct Batangas–Cebu route gives travelers from Southern Luzon an easier gateway to Cebu while making sea travel more seamless and convenient. We hope this encourages more Filipinos to travel, explore, and stay connected with the people and places that matter most,” he added.
The new route forms part of 2GO Travel’s continuing commitment to expanding safe, reliable, and convenient sea travel while connecting more Filipinos to destinations across the Philippines.
“Tickets are available through travel.2go.com.ph, the 2GO app, or at any 2GO Store nationwide,” the firm stated.
