The Philippine SME launched its E-Commerce Expo on Thursday, unveiling the country's first event aimed at bringing entrepreneurs, online sellers, digital innovators, government agencies, investors, and business leaders under one platform.
As the Philippine e-commerce sector continues its expansion, PHILSME CEO Trixie Esguerra-Abrenilla highlighted the need to help entrepreneurs transition toward digital commerce to expand their online presence and navigate the fast-changing digital economy.
"Despite Philippine e-commerce being close to a trillion-peso industry, it has never had its own stage until now,” Abrenilla said.
According to Abrevilla, the expo will feature two days of exhibitions, conferences, and networking opportunities, with more than 220 business solutions and over 70 talks and presentations from industry experts.
"From building PhilSME over the years, we have this whole group of Filipino SMEs, and I really think it's time to help them boost their business to another level—and that is to go e-commerce vertical and help them scale and grow their sales online more and more,” Abrevilla said.
The event aims to serve as a one-stop ecosystem where entrepreneurs can connect with various e-commerce platforms, marketing firms, technology providers, business service companies, and other organizations that support online businesses, the CEO asserted.
"Everyone that you need from this ecosystem will be there—willing to support you, willing to tell you how to do it, what to do, and guide aspiring and current online sellers,” Abrenilla added.
Among the other guests are Chinkee Tan, a wealth coach and motivational speaker, and "Boss RBR" Delos Reyes, president and founder of RDR Business Solutions.
The expo will also allow businesses to connect directly with qualified decision-makers, launch their brands before a highly targeted audience, establish strategic partnerships, and capitalize on fourth-quarter business opportunities.
She noted that PhilSME has spent the past three years organizing 18 editions of business expos and building one of the country's largest business communities, giving organizers confidence that EcomX will successfully connect exhibitors with qualified audiences.
The E-commerce Expo will be open for everyone, upon registration, from 20 to 21 November 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Aura.
