THE crowd-favorite Butterbeer by The Whisky Bar in the World Kitchens.
Every tick of the clock is a happy hour when you spend it at The Whisky Bar inside the World Kitchens at Gateway Mall 2 in Cubao, Quezon City.
According to Emperador Inc. executive director Kendrick Tan, the planning process between them and the Araneta Group, which handles World Kitchens, took just three months.
“I have to say, it’s a dream to be able to run a bar and we’re so happy that Araneta chose to partner with us to run our bar,” Tan told DAILY TRIBUNE.
“Everybody saw it, and it was only two to three months. It was different because the bar was run by a different group, and the concept was completely different,” he added.
Whether you like it on the rocks or neat, a variety of renowned liquor are available for consumption at the bar, such as Tamnavulin, Jura and The Dalmore, even Smirnoff Mule, one of the known ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages in the country is also up for grabs.
At the forefront of the choices are the highballs made with Charles & James Whisky, an oak-aged blended Scotch whisky imported from Scotland which features a light kick, perfect for the Filipino palate.
Tan also shared that they took their time in crafting more variants to create a more diverse choice for highballs, perfect for those who are first-time drinkers as well.
“We have the classic highball, the Highball Sour, the top-selling is Butterbeer, it’s very sweet, the Salted Caramel Pineapple, Black Forest, Mixed Berries and Highball Bellini, which is peach,” he said.
