The center forms part of EY’s move toward autonomous security operations, where AI-powered platforms assist analysts in detecting and responding to threats more quickly while maintaining human oversight.
“Cybersecurity is now inseparable from business resilience and growth,” said Ajay Anand, EY GDS Global Vice Chair.
Powered by EY’s Intelligent Defense Platform and supported by technologies from CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Tanium, and Cyble, the center will enhance endpoint protection, cloud security, and threat intelligence for clients worldwide.
EY said the expansion will also create opportunities for Filipino cybersecurity professionals by developing expertise in threat intelligence, cybersecurity engineering, and AI-driven cyber analytics.
“Cebu combines a deep cyber talent pipeline and a rapidly maturing technology ecosystem,” said Maez de Guzman, EY GDS Philippines Cybersecurity Leader. “This strengthens the Philippines’ role as a strategic hub in EY’s global AI-driven cyber operations.”
