HYBE has officially confirmed the sale of its entire stake in SM Entertainment to China's Tencent.
Tencent has expanded international access to its latest artificial intelligence model, Hy3, making it available to developers, businesses and users through its workplace, design and cloud platforms.
The company said Hy3, officially released on 6 July, can now be accessed globally through WorkBuddy, Tencent Design Miora and Tencent Cloud TokenHub, with additional integrations planned across Tencent Cloud’s AI portfolio.
Global users can try Hy3 on WorkBuddy free of charge until 31 August 2026.
“Hy3 marks a significant step in how Tencent Cloud International is helping organizations move beyond AI experimentation and put intelligence to work in practical, trusted and scalable ways,” said Poshu Yeung, senior vice president of Tencent Cloud and head of Tencent Cloud International.
Built on a hybrid Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) architecture, Hy3 has 295 billion total parameters, with 21 billion active parameters, and supports a context window of up to 256,000 tokens. Tencent said the model delivers advanced reasoning, coding and AI agent capabilities while requiring fewer computing resources than many competing flagship models.
According to Tencent, Hy3 generated 68 times more API calls than its predecessor and topped OpenRouter’s global large language model usage rankings within a week of launch.
The company said Hy3 is already integrated into developer platforms such as Hermes, Kilo, Cline, OpenClaw, OpenCode and Cherry Studio, while also being available on Hugging Face and ModelScope under the Apache 2.0 open-source license.
Tencent said WorkBuddy uses Hy3 to power AI agents capable of handling research, document creation, presentations, coding and workplace communications from a single prompt. Internal testing showed task completion time improved by 34 percent, while task success rates exceeded 90 percent.
Hy3 is also integrated into Tencent Design Miora, an AI-powered creative platform that generates graphics, videos, user interfaces and 3D assets, and Tencent Cloud TokenHub, which enables enterprises to manage multiple AI models through a single API.
Tencent said Hy3 is priced on OpenRouter starting at US$0.1288 per million input tokens and US$0.5336 per million output tokens.
