The Great BDO Travel Sale concluded on Sunday, offering travelers in Metro Manila and Cebu access to discounted airfares, tour packages and travel-related promotions as demand for leisure travel continues to recover.

The three-day travel fair was held simultaneously at SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig City and at the North Wing Atrium of SM City Cebu, drawing consumers seeking deals for domestic and international trips.

In Cebu, the travel sale ran from 26 to 28 June, giving visitors the opportunity to book discounted travel packages and plan future vacations. Organizers promoted the event as a one-stop venue for travel bargains and exclusive offers.

The Manila leg of the event culminated on 28 June, with organizers urging travelers to take advantage of what they described as some of the year's best travel deals before the sale ended.

The annual travel fair forms part of BDO's efforts to provide cardholders with access to travel promotions and exclusive discounts through partnerships with airlines, hotels, tour operators and other tourism stakeholders.

The event comes as the Philippine tourism industry continues to strengthen, supported by growing demand for both domestic and international travel.

Airlines, hotels and travel agencies have continued to roll out promotional campaigns and travel fairs to encourage bookings during the second half of the year and support the sustained recovery of tourism-related businesses.
