MediCard Philippines and The Medical City (TMC) have reaffirmed their partnership to improve healthcare access and service delivery for members and patients across the country.

The collaboration brings together MediCard’s health maintenance organization (HMO) services and TMC’s network of hospitals and clinics, with both institutions aiming to provide more accessible and responsive healthcare.

MediCard, an AIA company, said strategic partnerships remain important as it expands its healthcare services and develops a more integrated healthcare system.

The company has introduced digital and preventive care initiatives, including its MedGo app, Mental Health Wellbeing Support platform and Livewell wellness program.

The Mental Health Wellbeing Support platform, integrated into the MedGo app, allows members to monitor and manage their health, while Livewell promotes healthier lifestyles through health education, screening initiatives and preventive care interventions.

The ceremonial signing was led by MediCard Philippines chief executive officer Julian Mengual and TMC president and group chief executive officer Dr. Stuart A.F. Bennett.

The partnership aims to support the institutions’ shared goal of helping Filipinos live healthier, longer and better lives.
