Science, Innovation, Quality: Ajinomoto PH opens immersive facility tour
'Eat Well, Live Well'

Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) is opening the doors of its Bulacan facility to offer the World of Ajinomoto Philippines Factory Tour, a fun and engaging learning activity that takes visitors on a journey through how their products go from the factory to your nearest grocery stores.
As one of the widely recognized seasoning brands, the tour highlights the discovery of umami, the first basic taste, and the growth of Ajinomoto as a savory flavor enhancer that became a staple at Filipino households.
APC President Daizaburo Koga highlighted that opening the Bulacan factory to the public is a response to continuous and growing requests from students, educators, organizations, and community groups seeking meaningful knowledge-building and experiential learning opportunities.
“You are one of the first to experience this, and we are happy to share it with you so you can help us spread this news,” Koga said.
The World of Ajinomoto Philippines Factory Tour gives a closer look at how Ajinomoto products in the Philippines are made, packed, stored, and delivered with stringent quality controls and greener operations.
Visitors will also receive a tour passport that will be stamped at every stop, recreating the experience of completing a guided tour through the facility.

“In the past, we have been receiving requests from students and private groups asking if they could visit our factory for learning and education,” Senior Vice President Makoto Tanabe added.
Free for all curious goers, the World of Ajinomoto Philippines Factory Tour is open for everyone, providing an opportunity to demonstrate APC’s commitment to promoting nutrition, health, and sustainability, as well as their goal to help extend a healthy life expectancy for 2 billion people and reduce their environmental impact by 50%.
Reflecting these core focuses are initiatives such as I Love Veggielicious, which calls for more vegetable consumption, and BawAsin, an effort encouraging reducing salt intake without sacrificing deliciousness.
Including the factory’s transition to using 100 percent renewable energy and deployment of a pioneering 40-foot Electric Vehicle (EV) tractor head and trailer wing van for sustainable logistics.
