First Secretary and Agriculture Attaché Akasaka Hidenori from the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines told students of Campo Cuatro Elementary School (CCES) in Datu Abdullah Sangki, Maguindanao del Sur the importance of well-balanced meals for their health during his visit to the sites of the Farm-to-School Meals Program in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (FSMPB) on 12 to 14 January.
CCES is one of the beneficiaries of the FSMPB, which is being implemented by the World Food Program with support from the Government of Japan. Under the program, the Upi Organic Farming Agriculture Cooperative and the Masabar Producers Cooperative supply the produce needed for the FSMBP.
