Our wild world this July
So much shifting energy is coming into the planet that, from a spiritual perspective, it is believed that as more photon light enters our planet, our bodies are likewise being re-calibrated to take in more light.

A CALENDAR page highlighting the month of July, marking a period often associated with mid-year transitions and reflection.

I literally crawled to bed at 7:30 p.m., so terribly tired, as though all energy has been sapped out of me. It’s been this way for two weeks or so. And not because of my health, as I have been like a hawk watching my daily routines and healthcare. No, there is really something in the air, and energetically I am picking it up. Not just me actually — many people I know have been feeling the same, and we have been exchanging notes.
Then earthquakes have been happening. Today, we see the Ring of Fire fully alive. This is the belt of frequent earthquakes and volcanic activity around the Pacific Ocean, caused by the movement of tectonic plates. There is a frequency of earthquakes happening recently in all parts of the globe.
Scientists are also monitoring the Sun because we’re near the peak of Solar Cycle 25. Sunspot groups are growing, and they can suddenly release powerful flares or coronal mass ejections (CMEs), which can affect radio communications, satellites, GPS accuracy and produce auroras if Earth-directed.
All these have been affecting the energy of our planet, and the empaths and sensitives feel it so. So much shifting energy is coming into the planet that, from a spiritual perspective, it is believed that as more photon light enters our planet, our bodies are likewise being re-calibrated to take in more light.
Astrology has a great story this year, as all the outer major planets shifted signs. The main act of 2026 is the intensity and speed of the shift. We will see this more so in June (which we are leaving), into July (where major astrological positions never seen in decades will happen), and August (eclipse season, which will accelerate the energies even more). The objective is evolutionary growth.
What gets me all the time is that as the planets move, they trigger energetic changes. For us who understand and can read the meaning of these correlations, the astrology of the times is just so perfectly and exactly aligned with global events. I look up to read the stars, then sit back to watch the global show. And this is why I feel so impelled to try to explain the storyline of the cosmos now.
January came in with a bang, with Donald Trump declaring war on Iran. The month of February was the most intense, with war and the Epstein files going public globally. (Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries) was a mind-bending time forcing our realities to be defined. The post-war world is surely being destroyed. War, geopolitics and technology (AI) continue to be the main issues. New systems of government and financial systems are arising as the old world is dying in all fronts.
But this July will be a really wild, interesting, and exciting month. First, Mercury goes retrograde until 24 June, so expect that miscommunications may make things more chaotic. Mars and Uranus come together (let’s watch the USA on 4 July), where we expect large volatile energies to happen. This combination is one intense, electrifying alignment that combines Mars’ drive and action with Uranus’ urge for freedom and sudden change, often associated with impulsiveness, breakthroughs, rebellion and unexpected bursts of energy. So I would also watch volcanoes and earthquakes too (hopefully not that big one…!). And talks of war that again turn into action on the ground.
A more fun, creative energy will also be felt even as intensity of the energies sharpens. Next week, Jupiter is entering the sign of Leo, where the energies will encourage creative self-expression, generous leadership and the courage to follow one’s heart with confidence and enthusiasm. (So, happy birthday and expansive year to all who are Leo!)
Plus, this July, there is a rare configuration coming up (19 to 20 July, peak — 21) called the Andre Barbeaux Basket. This is named after the French astrologer who identified a tightly coordinated pattern among several outer planets that makes it look like a “basket.” Astrologers interpret this as signaling a collective turning point and the potential for a broad renewal of civilization after a period of global crisis.
So, a new world civilization is about to jet off. Many believe it will be about AI and how it takes society into this (digital IDs, how you do what you do in the world, how society will be taken care of, etc.). World events will be fluctuating like crazy, leading up to eclipse season in August (but that’s another story, even as my thoughts say, “Can we just get through to September?”).
On a personal level, it becomes imperative for us to really learn how to control one’s own energy, manage one’s mental and emotional state, and self-regulate. Eat healthier and move slower. Go inward and feel creative. Breathe. Find what and who makes us joyful.
Because this is really the only thing we can do. Things will get crazy, so just enjoy July and let’s stay in our little corner of the world. Healthy self-centeredness, perhaps, would be the best way we can approach the coming month. Be the light in your little corner, touching who you can, creatively expressing what you can.
