A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck off the coast of Mindanao on Monday, a week after a deadly tremor in the region killed at least 65 people.

The quake struck at a depth of 112 kilometers, according to the United States Geological Survey. No tsunami warning was issued.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage, while authorities continued monitoring coastal areas for signs of unusual sea movement.
