Phoenix Super LPG escaped Rain or Shine, 87-83, to clinch back-to-back wins in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner’s Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Tuesday.

Jason Perkins fired 20 points as the Fuel Masters handed the Elasto Painters’ first loss of the midseason conference.

A layup by Perkins with 4:21 remaining in the fourth quarter capped a six-point swing for Phoenix as they took a 84-78 lead.

Adrian Nocum led Rain or Shine with 20 points in a losing effort.
