VinFast Philippines says it now keeps more than 80,000 genuine vehicle parts in its local warehouse in Laguna, a move the company believes will calm worries about electric vehicle ownership.

The parts are stored in a 3,975 square meter facility at the DHL Parts Distribution Center in Santa Rosa. The warehouse has been operating since the brand entered the Philippine market in 2024.

Company officials say the inventory level is higher than what many other automotive brands currently maintain in the country.

Electric vehicles remain new to many Filipino buyers. Questions about battery life, repairs, and spare parts often come up during showroom visits. VinFast says its growing stockpile is meant to answer those concerns in a practical way.

The Laguna site is managed by DHL Supply Chain, which handles inbound and outbound shipments, inventory tracking, and nationwide distribution. The facility serves as the main hub for parts coming from Vietnam before they are sent to dealers across the Philippines.

According to the company, orders within Metro Manila can be delivered within 24 hours. Dealers in the Visayas and Mindanao are also supported, depending on service coverage areas.

The warehouse runs on a shared digital system that allows dealers to check stock availability and process orders in real time.

VinFast entered the Philippine market two years ago and has since been expanding its dealership footprint. As the number of vehicles on the road increases, so does the need for dependable after-sales support.

Company officials expect demand for EV-specific services to rise as more drivers consider switching from traditional gasoline-powered vehicles.

Bevan Williams, country managing director of DHL Supply Chain Philippines, said the partnership supports the growth of electric mobility in the country.

He noted that new energy is one of the group’s focus sectors and that DHL aims to help ensure steady service for dealers and customers nationwide.

Antonio Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia, said many Filipinos remain unsure about maintenance and parts availability for electric vehicles.

He added that the company wants to remove that uncertainty by keeping a wide range of genuine components on hand.

The Laguna warehouse supports VinFast’s local distributors and dealers. It also shows that the company plans to stay and grow in the Philippine market. For a brand still building its presence, steady access to parts may matter as much as the cars themselves.
