Ateneo, Holy Cross top Mindanao elims

DAVAO CITY — Ateneo de Davao University and Holy Cross of Davao College dispose separate rivals to top the 2026 VLeague Mindanao eliminations at the Davao City Recreation Center.

Ateneo outplayed University of Mindanao, 3-1, to top the Girls Division while Holy Cross bested Philippine Women’s College, 3-1, to earn the right to represent Mindanao in the VLeague National Finals.

“We are proud to have them as our representatives in Mindanao. Hope they will give their best and win,” said VLeague Mindanao technical director Abet Bernan at the Davao Sportswriters Association Forum.

Ateneo and Holy Cross will slug it out against teams from the Visayas and Metro Manila in the VLeague National Finals.
