Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla shared that he recently called Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando in line with the reports that his convoy harassed a son of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in Northern Luzon Expressway (NLEX).

“Governor Fernando was angry that when he traveled by NLEX, he had four lanes occupied that no one could overtake,” Remulla said in a press briefing Tuesday morning.

“We got a lot of complaints like that, that he was too much of a king in his area,” he added, highlighting the ‘road rage’ incidents about Fernando.

Remulla shared that during his 11-year term as a governor in Cavite, he did not think of doing the same deed in South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).

“It doesn’t matter if it was a presidential son or not. It’s become Governor Fernando’s behavior that, when he travels NLEX, he takes up four lanes that you can’t overtake,” Remulla explained.

According to Remulla, the Police Regional Office Central Luzon (PRO 3) conducted an investigation on Fernando’s firearms licenses and vehicles, with one gun reported missing.
