The Medical City Clinic (TMC Clinic) strengthened its standing in primary care after earning the Maxicare Market Leader Award, underscoring its position as a leading provider of primary care services and its long-standing collaboration with Maxicare Healthcare Corporation.
The award was conferred during a ceremony held on 11 February, citing TMC Clinic’s consistent clinical quality, patient-centered service and operational reliability — standards that have defined its partnership with Maxicare over the years.
Dr. Stuart Bennett, president and Group CEO of The Medical City, accepted the recognition on behalf of the TMC Clinic team and highlighted the importance of sustained healthcare partnerships.
“The Medical City’s mission is to make high-quality healthcare accessible and to close the gap between Filipinos and global standards of care,” Dr. Bennett said. “I think there’s a lot more to achieve through synergistic thinking and really working together.”
The recognition reflects the alignment between Maxicare and TMC Clinic in advancing dependable primary care through coordinated systems, consistent clinical governance and efficient service delivery. Their collaboration has expanded access to preventive care, early diagnosis and long-term disease management for members nationwide.
“There are a lot of things that we have in common, shared mission, shared goal, which is to make healthcare more affordable to every Filipino,” Christian Sean Argos, president and CEO of Maxicare Healthcare Corporation, said.
As part of The Medical City’s nationwide network, TMC Clinic operates as a primary care access point, offering consultations, diagnostics and preventive services while ensuring seamless referrals within the broader hospital system.
With more than 70 branches across Metro Manila and key cities in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, TMC Clinic continues to strengthen its footprint in community-based healthcare delivery.
