First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos paid a visit to the OFW Hospital at Barangay Sindalan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on 18 February 2026, to witness the start of the “Kalinga ni Nanay Surgical and Medical Mission.”

Nanay Partylist and the Makati Medical Center Foundation led the said medical mission as the First Lady was welcomed by partylist Representative Florabel Yatco. Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda accompanied the First Lady during her visit to the medical facility.

Volunteer doctors from the Makati Medical Center Foundation took part in the three-day mission wherein 1,141 patients with financial constraints are expected to be given medical services.

These 1,141 patients include 131 in need of major operations; 392 to undergo minor operations; 327 benefiting from eye check-ups and free glasses; and 292 provided with dental services.

The Provincial Government of Pampanga identified the beneficiaries, with the help from the Nanay Community Workers, and Executive Assistant IV Angelina Blanco. The said beneficiaries underwent a few days of initial assessment and clearance thru the Nanay Partylist and Makati Medical Center Foundation.

The program not only provides operation, but will include free post-operative medicines and Nanay Hygiene kits to ensure continuous healing of every patient.

Governor Nanay Pineda expressed her gratitude to the Nanay Partylist for the Kapampangans. Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac, OWWA Administrator Patricia Yvonne Caunan, and other local officials also showed their support in the said program.
