ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – The vehicle of Ma. Teresa "Tess" Mamac, widow of the late Balibago Barangay Captain and former police major Tony Mamac, was discovered abandoned in Magalang town plaza on 14 February, two days after her disappearance.

Magalang police chief PCol Fercel Deloria reported that the white 2019 Toyota Innova Model V (plate number CAQ 2482, conduction sticker PO W988) was found deserted in Magalang, near Angeles City. The Mamac family later identified the vehicle, which is now being processed by Crime Scene Investigators (SOCO) for evidence.

Deloria revealed that initial police findings suggest the car was left at the site by the family's driver. More critically, he stated there is a possibility the vehicle was used in committing a crime.

Relatives had reported to the Angeles City Police Station (ACPS) that Mrs. Mamac was last seen between 8:45 PM and 8:49 PM on Friday, 12 February. She was driving the said Innova, departing Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, and heading towards Mabalacat. The family also noted that Mrs. Mamac was accompanied by their dog, Bubbles, a female mini Yorkshire Terrier.

In an online appeal, Vice Governor Delta Pineda urged the public to help the Philippine National Police (PNP) in finding Mrs. Mamac. The family, through her son RM Mamac, also appealed for help for the swift and safe return of his mother.

Both the ACPS and Magalang Police are actively conducting a joint investigation into Mrs. Mamac's disappearance and the circumstances surrounding her vehicle's abandonment. Authorities assured the public that all efforts are being exhausted to locate her.

The police and the Mamac family urged anyone with information regarding Mrs. Mamac's whereabouts or details related to her vehicle's abandonment to immediately contact the nearest police station or the family directly.
