Voter registration for the November 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) resumes Monday across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
The poll body is calling on qualified residents to visit local election offices or designated satellite centers in their respective cities and municipalities. The registration window remains open until 31 March 2026.
Local election offices will accept applications from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, including holidays.
The registration period covers the provinces of Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Lanao del Sur, Basilan, Tawi-Tawi and the Special Geographic Area.
To register as a regular voter, an individual must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the Philippines for at least one year, and a resident of the specific area of registration for at least six months before the election.
For the Sangguniang Kabataan polls, eligible registrants must be between 15 and 30 years old and must have lived in their barangay for at least six months on or before the election.
Beyond new registrations, the poll body is processing applications for name or status changes, correction of entries, and the reactivation or reinstatement of registration records.
Personnel are also available to update records for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and members of indigenous communities, as well as to facilitate registration transfers from overseas to local records.
