Malacañang on Thursday clarified that there had been no discussions regarding the alleged appointment of Patrick Gregorio as secretary of the Department of Tourism.
The clarification came after an online news site reported that Gregorio was set to assume the post currently held by Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco.
“As of now, nothing like that is being discussed,” Palace press officer and Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro said.
Castro earlier said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. still has full confidence in Frasco.
