DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI) hosted the Robosports Tournament 2026 on 31 January and 01 February 2026 at the De La Salle Animo Center, drawing more than 900 participants from 55 institutions across five regions in the Philippines.
The annual DLSMHSI RoboSports Tournament (DRST) integrates robotics, sports, and research to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education. The event was organized in partnership with Pilipinas RoboSports, also known as RoboRAVE Robotics Consultancy and Services.
Open to public and private K to 12 schools and higher educational institutions nationwide, the tournament served as a platform for student roboticists to showcase skills in robot design, building, programming, and applied research. Organizers said an estimated 1,300 students, coaches, and guests attended the two-day competition.
Events were divided into elementary and open-age divisions, covering junior high school, senior high school, college, and above. Competitions included BoxBot, Track Mania, Line Racing, RoboHockey, X-Tank challenges, and robotics research categories focusing on health and wellness, as well as agricultural and industrial innovation.
DLSMHSI released an initial list of winners across selected categories. The full and official roster of winners will be formally recognized during the awarding ceremony at the next Robosports Tournament in 2027.
