

The Provincial Government turned over medical equipment, health facilities and ambulance to the San Marcelino District Hospital in the town of San Marcelino, Zambales on 26 January 2026.
Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr. led the turnover ceremony along with Zambales 1st District Representative Cong. Jay Khonghun, officials from the Department of Health (DOH) and PhilHealth that aims to boost the capabilities of the San Marcelino District Hospital.
According to Ebdane, the government turned over an Ambulatory Surgery Clinic, an ambulance, PhilHealth Yakap, Endoscopy and Medical Equipment, Dietary Building, Hospital Information System, Public Comfort Room from the Olongapo Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
Modern medical equipment such as Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) Machine, CPAP and BiPAP Machines, defibrillators with monitors, suction machines, high-flow oxygen nasal cannula devices, infusion pumps, and mechanical ventilators donated by the ng Latter-Day Saint Charities–Philippines, Inc. were also turned over.
The Provincial Government of Zambales also donated a Fuji Eluxeo Lite 6000 Multi-LED Complete Endoscopy System, Samsung Medison HS30 Color Ultrasound, Siemens ACUSON MAPLE Color Doppler Ultrasound at 2D Echocardiography System, and Edan F6 Fetal Monitors.
San Marcelino District Hospital chief Dr. Cresencio Gonzales received the said equipment, facilities and ambulance from the Provincial Government, as part of the latter’s thrust to boost the quality of medical and health services of hospitals in the province.
Ebdane said that the Provincial Government continues to strengthen its support for doctors, nurses, and other health professionals, especially those in primary hospitals in the province, adding that the aim is to ensure quality, efficient, and affordable health services to every Zambaleño.
