NLEX to temporarily close Balintawak lanes

NLEX Corporation announced Saturday the temporary closure of select lanes along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in Balintawak, Quezon City to accommodate roadway lighting restoration works.

The affected area covers around 200 meters of NLEX lanes in both directions between the Balintawak Cloverleaf and the Balintawak Toll Plaza.

Lane 1 in the northbound and southbound sections will be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., starting 26 January until 31 January.

NLEX Corp. advised motorists to expect slower traffic flow during the scheduled works and to plan trips accordingly. 

The company thanked the public for their cooperation and understanding as it undertakes measures to improve road safety.
