Reformer Pilates is taking on a more transformative role in the Philippine wellness scene, evolving beyond core strength and flexibility.
In recent years, Reformer Pilates has seen a surge in interest across the Philippines as more Filipinos prioritize holistic health and functional fitness. Driven by a growing awareness of movement’s role in injury prevention, pain management and overall wellbeing, wellness seekers are increasingly turning to Reformer Pilates for its blend of strength, stability and mindful motion.
NEXT+ Wellness Center has debuted the country’s first health innovation club, opening its flagship location in Quezon City. The center breaks new ground as the first in the Philippines to introduce Photobiomodulation (PBM) Reformer Pilates, an advanced approach that merges movement, technology and recovery in a single session.
Programs and treatments at NEXT+ are tailored for all ages and fitness levels, including seniors. According to founder and chief executive officer Angela Solquillo, the idea was born from a personal challenge. “Managing separate schedules for physiotherapy, pain treatment and Pilates was exhausting. NEXT+ was created as a single, efficient space where healing fits into real life,” she said.
PBM Reformer Pilates blends classic reformer-based exercises with red light therapy, using targeted wavelengths to stimulate blood flow, support muscle repair, ease inflammation and improve overall recovery. This cutting-edge format elevates Pilates from fitness to full-spectrum wellness.
NEXT+ delivers a wide range of modern physiotherapy services. These include Focused and Radial Shockwave Therapy, Ultrasound Therapy, Transfer of Energy Capacitive and Resistive (TECAR), Magneto Therapy and Graduated Air Compression Therapy. Each is designed to relieve pain, speed healing and support cellular recovery.
The center also offers autologous regenerative solutions, such as Cellular Regeneration Therapy (CRT) for joint care. Together, these services are built to enhance performance, extend longevity and promote deep tissue restoration, making integrative healing accessible.
