Senator Christopher “Bong” Go received the Dakilang Lahi Filipino Award for Excellence in Public Service and Humanitarian Leadership of the Year 2025 during an awarding ceremony held at Viva Café Philippines in Quezon City on 29 December 2025.
The award was presented by Dakilang Lahi Filipino Awards CEO Ma. Lourdes Meñez and is given to individuals recognized for contributions to public service and humanitarian efforts.
In a recorded video message shown during the ceremony, Go acknowledged the recognition and said it serves as a reminder of his responsibilities as a public servant.
“Tinatanggap ko ang parangal na ito hindi bilang personal na tagumpay kundi bilang paalala ng tungkulin ng isang lingkod-bayan,” Go said.
Go currently serves as chairperson of the Senate Committees on Youth and on Sports. He is the author and co-sponsor of Republic Act No. 11470, which established the National Academy of Sports (NAS) in New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac.
