Virginia-based defense supply chain firm Anglicotech LLC has reaffirmed its investment interest in the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO) following a recent high-level meeting with officials in Pasay City.

APECO President and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Gil G. Taway IV met with Anglicotech chief executive officer David Cooper on December 19 to discuss the company’s continued engagement and long-term outlook in the Philippines.

The meeting underscored Anglicotech’s confidence in APECO as a strategic location supporting national security, logistics, and related services.

Discussions also highlighted Anglicotech’s plan to pursue a measured, multi-phase investment approach, building on its existing operational strengths while positioning the company for future expansion as conditions mature.

APECO and Anglicotech emphasized the importance of aligning investments with government priorities, regional stability, and sustainable economic development.

“Our engagement with Anglicotech reflects a shared understanding that defense-related investments require stability, clarity of policy, a long-term view, and good governance. We are strengthening this under APECO’s current reforms,” Taway said.

Taway also reaffirmed APECO’s commitment to providing a conducive investment environment, supporting responsible defense-related industries, and fostering partnerships that contribute to economic growth and job generation in Aurora.

Prior to the meeting, Cooper and Anglicotech Philippines country manager Edmund Rustia conducted a site inspection at the ecozone in Casiguran, Aurora, on 16 August.

Anglicotech has been operating in Subic since 2024, providing logistics, C5ISR (Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), and foreign military sales support to the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the United States Department of Defense.
