Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed and killed his partner on Christmas Eve in Barangay 31 after a series of domestic disputes.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was found by relatives bleeding on a roadside Tuesday night. Investigators said she suffered three stab wounds to the chest, a laceration on her leg, and a fatal wound to her throat.
CCTV footage of the incident shows the couple engaged in a heated argument before the suspect began strangling the woman. The video shows the victim being pulled between two parked vehicles.
According to police, the victim’s screams were heard after the suspect appeared to reach for an object in his pocket.
The victim’s mother told authorities the couple had traveled to her home in Caloocan to celebrate the holiday. The daughter had planned to leave the following morning at 7 a.m.
Family members told investigators that the couple argued frequently. The victim’s sister said the suspect often expressed frustration that the victim followed him too closely, while the victim had complained to her parents that she felt neglected.
