Maxim Rides & Food Delivery launched its Motorcycle Taxi service in Batangas City on 17 December 2025. The company said the service is the city’s first fully licensed motorcycle ride-hailing option.
The launch gathered Maxim officials led by Mark Jazpher Dinglasan, head of Maxim Batangas, along with local government representatives.
In his presentation, Dinglasan walked guests through the fare structure and said the service starts with a minimum fare aimed at making short trips more reachable for commuters.
He also pointed to the platform as an added income option for motorcycle owners who want to sign up as driver partners.
Maxim Rides & Food Delivery president Andres Morales Jr. thanked the Land Transportation Office, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, the local government unit, and other local authorities for supporting the rollout.
After the ceremony, the first batch of 30 driver partners joined local officials for a hands-on demonstration at the venue. Drivers showed safety maneuvers and responsible riding practices as part of the training Maxim requires for its riders.
“Maxim is more than just a ride; it’s about care, trust and comfort,” Dinglasan said.
“We are proud to be the first legal Moto Taxi operator in Batangas, offering residents a modern mobility option while providing new earning opportunities for our driver partners.”
