Passengers from Central Visayas can now travel directly to Guam without passing through Manila after Philippine Airlines (PAL) launched the first nonstop Cebu–Guam flights on Wednesday, cutting travel time and offering more convenient access to the western Pacific island.

The flag carrier said Thursday that the new service links Mactan-Cebu International Airport with Guam three times a week, providing an alternative gateway for leisure travelers, overseas Filipinos, and business passengers based in Cebu and nearby provinces.

Flights from Cebu operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, departing at 9:40 PM and arriving in Guam at 3:25 AM local time.

Return flights leave Guam every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 5:15 AM, arriving in Cebu at 6:50 AM.

PAL said the Cebu–Guam route complements its daily Manila–Guam flights and will be operated using Airbus A321ceo aircraft.
