An idol with a generous heart!

American pop star Taylor Swift was shown in a kind gesture personally handing out bonuses to Eras Tour employees in Episode 2 of the six-part Disney+ docuseries, The End of an Era.

The episode, which dropped on 12 December, featured a moment where she gathered her crew and gave them handwritten letters, which took her weeks to finish.

According to a December 2024 report by People, Swift handed out a total of $197 million in bonuses over the past two years to dancers, band members, technical teams, videographers, pyrotechnics techs and riggers, lighting and sound techs, production assistants, wardrobe artists, hair and makeup stylists, choreographers, physical therapists, carpenters, security staff, and six-figure checks to truck drivers.

One of the letters read:
"We've traveled the world like we set out to do. We've dazzled the crowds, but we've missed family too. My full gratitude doesn't come from a bank, but here's [bonus amount] just to say thanks. Love, Taylor."

Swift revealed that it took her a couple of weeks to finish the handwritten letters to every single member of the crew, but for her, it was worth the effort.

"If the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus," she said.

"It's fun to write notes. It's fun to think about everybody's lives that they're going back to, the time off they're going to have, the kids they haven't seen because they've been away for months—making that worthwhile for them. It feels like Christmas morning when you finally get to say thank you," she added.

After her record-breaking Eras Tour from 2023 to 2024, Taylor Swift also made headlines following her romantic engagement to American football player Travis Kelce on Aug. 26 of this year.
