The Department of Justice (DOJ) revealed on Wednesday that there is no record indicating Cassandra Ong has left the Philippines, though her exact location remains unknown.
The agency said the latest information suggests Ong may still be in the country. “We cannot, however, confirm her exact location, nor can we discount the possibility that she may have exited the country through backdoor channels,” DOJ spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez said.
The DOJ appealed to the public for assistance, urging anyone with credible and actionable information about Ong’s whereabouts to come forward.
As part of this effort, the department has offered a reward of P1 million for tips that could lead to locating her.
