More than P1 million worth of suspected shabu was seized from a high-value drug target in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City on Sunday afternoon.
Nabbed in the operation was a 22-year-old suspect identified only by the alias “Lester,” listed as a newly identified high-value individual.
Recovered from the suspect were 11 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 150 grams, with a standard drug price of P1,020,000; P1,000 used as marked money; seven pieces of fake P1,000 bills as buy-bust money; and a black belt bag containing additional drug-related evidence.
The arrested suspect has been turned over to the Pasig City Police Station custodial facility, while cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared for filing before the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office.
