realme Philippines has introduced the realme C85 5G, a budget smartphone equipped with a 7000mAh battery and fifth-generation mobile connectivity, marking the most feature-heavy release so far in its C-Series lineup.
The device enters the market with a focus on battery endurance and durability. The 7000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging and, according to realme’s internal tests, can retain most of its health after several years of use.
The phone carries three ingress-protection certifications — IP66, IP68 and IP69K — indicating resistance to dust, high-pressure water jets and submersion. realme said the device was also subjected to multiple drop and liquid-exposure tests, including a dive test from roughly 20 feet.
Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the C85 5G supports 5G connectivity and includes a vapor-chamber cooling system to manage heat during heavy usage. The phone allows virtual memory expansion of up to 24GB.
The C85 5G features a 6.8-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness. It also includes a 50-megapixel main camera with basic AI-assisted imaging tools.
Two color variants, Parrot Purple and Peacock Green, are available at launch. A 4G version of the C85 will be released separately.
realme also introduced the realme Buds Clip, an open-ear Bluetooth accessory with IP55 resistance and up to 36 hours of rated battery life.
The C85 5G is available through realme stores and select online platforms starting 21 November.
