As someone in my early 20s, I honestly didn’t expect amusement parks to have the same impact on me as they did when I was younger. I thought the experience would feel familiar or predictable, even as if I’d simply be reliving memories I’d already outgrown.
But I was quickly proven wrong the moment I was warmly welcomed by the people of the enchanted place that so many love and keep coming back to.
The excitement hit as soon as I walked through the entrance. Suddenly, I couldn’t decide which ride or show to go to first, as if I were afraid that after so many years, I might miss something and leave with a sense of wasted chances.
It had been years since my last visit to Enchanted Kingdom. I couldn’t even remember which rides and shows I had tried before. So this time, I let myself simply follow whatever felt right.
Soaring with Saribuhay
I visited with my colleagues, accompanied throughout our trip by one of the park’s guides. Together, we answered the call of “Saribuhay” as I rediscovered a more educational and immersive Agila The EKsperience: SARIBUHAY. This time, I soared over the country’s most breathtaking landscapes with the majestic Philippine eagle and its new companion, Sinag the eagle ray. As I flew and dove through these scenic realms, I learned more about the Philippines’ diverse ecosystems and met fascinating friends from its endangered wildlife.
Relaunched last October as Enchanted Kingdom’s 30th-anniversary gift to Filipinos, the attraction immerses guests in the rich world of the nation’s flora and fauna — from the moment you enter the building to the moment you step out. Experiencing the ride at least three times also reveals the legends of the harmony stones: earth, water and air.
But beyond showcasing the country’s beauty and boosting tourism, AGILA The EKsperience: SARIBUHAY became a personal call to action — an inspiring reminder of how urgently we need to protect our environment and the creatures that depend on it.
EKStreme Thrill Unleashed
And, of course, no trip to Enchanted Kingdom feels complete without diving into its extreme, but unbelievably fun, rides.
I started with the iconic Space Shuttle. Strapping in, I felt the rush of its newly relaunched version, revamped last October with a refreshed theme and upgraded ride technology. Every twist and turn felt sharper, smoother and more exhilarating, all while knowing the experience was safer than ever.
Next was the EKlipse, launched in March 2025. I remembered the buzz around its “Name That Ride” online voting campaign last January, so finally riding something chosen by thousands of fans felt extra meaningful. It doesn’t flip, but its sweeping bird’s-eye view of the park and its surroundings made the experience unforgettable.
But the surprise highlight of my day was trying the Twin-Spin for the first time. As a rollercoaster lover, I didn’t expect anything to top the classics, but this one hooked me instantly. It wasn’t just another coaster — it spun, twisted, and thrilled in ways I wasn’t prepared for.
Enchanting Christmas spirit
With Christmas only a few weeks away, I could already feel the excitement settling in. This season has a way of making every fun and unforgettable moment here even more meaningful, especially when I get to share it with the people dearest to me. Starting this November, I get to watch the Filipino Christmas spirit unfold through the park’s magical holiday displays, festive shows, and special limited-time offerings.
As I strolled around the park, taking a breather from the rides, I noticed how Enchanted Kingdom continues to bring people together. I saw families gathered around a shared platter of snacks, couples strolling by in matching Eldar headbands, and groups of friends huddled over maps, debating which ride to go to next.
As Enchanted Kingdom celebrates its 30th year, it’s clear that the magic here is truly timeless — not just in the park itself, but in the memories it creates for its guests. Over the years, generations of families, friends and thrill-seekers have walked through its gates, each visit adding to a shared story of laughter, adventure and wonder that never seems to fade.
