CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Ten individuals were apprehended in a series of anti-crime operations across Nueva Ecija on 21 November, resulting in the seizure of approximately P93,000 worth of shabu and the confiscation of an illegal firearm, according to the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
In Talavera, three individuals were arrested in Barangay Sampaloc during a buy-bust operation. Authorities seized 10 grams of shabu, estimated at P68,000, and a homemade .38 caliber revolver loaded with two live rounds.
Separately, in Aliaga, Talugtug, and Gen. Tinio, four additional drug traders were arrested in different operations, yielding 3.4 grams of shabu valued at P23,120.
In Gen. Tinio, during a checkpoint in Brgy. Padolina, police flagged down a suspicious motorcycle rider, recovering two sachets of shabu weighing 0.37 grams with an estimated value of P2,516.
PCOL Heryl Bruno, provincial director, reiterated the police force's commitment to eradicating illegal drugs and criminal activities throughout the province, aligning with PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I Peñones Jr.'s directive for steadfast anti-criminality operations.
