Authorities reported that a man was killed after being run over by a 12-wheeler dump truck along Don Mariano Avenue, Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal on Tuesday night.
According to the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station, they received information from a concerned citizen regarding a road crash incident.
It was learned that the victim’s motorcycle crashed and went under the wheels of the dump truck, which resulted in his death.
Police reports identified the victim as alias Gilbert, a resident Kasiglahan Village. He was riding a Rusi RFI 175 motorcycle (plate number 591QYK) when the incident happened.
Meanwhile, the unidentified driver of the dump truck with plate number NGS 1610 immediately fled after the incident and was last seen heading towards the crossing.
Police are now conducting follow-up operations for the possible arrest of the suspect.
