Petron has introduced a new engine oil made for the growing number of scooter riders in the country. The product, called Petron Sprint Scooter Oil, is meant to handle the mix of traffic, heat, rain, and long hours that define daily riding in the Philippines.

Scooters have become a common sight on major roads, and Petron says it understands why. Many riders choose scooters because they are easy to handle in traffic and practical for both short and long trips. 

For many, having a scooter means being able to move on their own time, without waiting for public transport or getting stuck on fixed routes. But riding every day also brings new challenges, from heavy congestion on EDSA and C5 to sudden weather changes and rough patches of road.

Petron says the new Sprint Scooter Oil was developed with these conditions in mind. The formula carries a high API rating and is blended at the company’s facility that supplies oils across Southeast Asia. The company says it performs well during stop-and-go traffic, long rides, and continuous operation in hot or wet weather.

“We understand the daily challenges of scooter riders, which is why this product was created,” Virgilio V. Centeno, Petron vice president for Industrial Sales, said.

Petron adds that the goal is to give riders steady performance and peace of mind on their everyday routes, whether it is for work, deliveries, or weekend errands.
