The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday reported the arrest of 11 regional most wanted individuals, the seizure of illegal drugs valued at P9.2 million, and the shutdown of an illegal LPG refilling plant in Quezon City.
PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez said the operations were conducted simultaneously across several regions and targeted individuals facing serious criminal charges, including multiple counts of murder, qualified rape of minors, and violations of the country’s anti-drug laws.
Law enforcement activities spanned Cavite, Laguna, Iloilo, Palawan, Davao Occidental, Misamis Oriental, and Negros Occidental.
Some of those arrested had been evading capture for years and were listed among the Top Regional Most Wanted Persons.
In Davao del Norte and Zamboanga del Norte, anti-drug units from PRO11 and PRO9, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), arrested three high-value targets in separate buy-bust operations. Confiscated from these individuals were 1,355 grams of shabu, with an estimated street value of P9,214,000.
Meanwhile, in Quezon City, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) raided an illegal LPG refilling plant in Barangay Payatas.
Acting on Search Warrant No. 6645(25) issued for violations of the LPG Industry Regulation Act (RA 11592), officers seized refilling equipment, storage tanks, and cylinders valued at P3.1 million. Four suspects were arrested, while one remains at large.
All arrested individuals are currently in police custody, and charges are being prepared for filing.
These operations underscore the PNP’s ongoing efforts to pursue wanted criminals, dismantle drug syndicates, and crack down on illegal businesses that pose public safety risks, said Nartatez.
