Grab Philippines has launched a new financing program that gives its partners faster access to funds and rotating in-app perks designed to ease daily expenses and strengthen financial stability.

Available directly through the Grab and MOVE IT apps, the Buhay Asenso Cash Loan allows  driver-, delivery-, and MOVE IT rider-partners  to conveniently apply for credit while enjoying monthly benefits such as vehicle-maintenance discounts and free health consultations for themselves and their families.

Grab Philippines Vice President for Cities and Grab Financial Group Country Head CJ Lacsican said Tuesday that the program will support the “thriving gig economy.”

“Gig workers, such as our driver-, rider-, and delivery-partners, deserve reliable lifelines for urgent needs and long-term goals — from healthcare expenses and tuition to small-business ventures. When financing is within reach and responsibly delivered, partners become more financially resilient and are empowered to invest in their future,” Lacsican said.

The loan program was unveiled during the Health & Wheelness 2025 Expo, Grab and MOVE IT’s largest wellness event for partners.

The expo offered free medical checkups, dental and eye exams, and access to SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth services — underscoring the companies’ broader push for partner well-being.

More than 4,000 partners and family members attended the event, which also featured financial-literacy sessions and one-on-one loan consultations conducted by Grab Financial Group.

Under the Buhay Asenso Cash Loan, partners can access three types of monthly perks: Pangkabuhayan, which offers discounts on vehicle care; Pampamilya, providing GrabMart vouchers and tuition-fee discounts; and Pangkalusugan, giving free consultations at Healthway clinics.

The launch was complemented by Brake Ka Muna, an online education campaign promoting financial readiness, physical and mental wellness, and vehicle maintenance for partners who could not attend the expo in person.
