The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported Sunday that its Revitalized-Pulis sa Barangay (R-PSB) initiative carried out a total of 177 activities during the first week of November.

QCPD acting director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio stated that R-PSB Teams 1 through 4, overseen by Lt. Col. Allan Docyogen, Officer-In-Charge of the District Community Affairs and Development Division, are continuously working to strengthen police-community relations and maintain peace and order across various barangays in Quezon City.

Between 2 and 8 November, the R-PSB teams conducted their operations within Sitio San Roque in Bagong Pag-asa, along with Batasan Hills, Commonwealth, and Payatas.

Of the total activities, 96 were community engagement initiatives. These initiatives included dialogues, lectures, seminars, feeding programs, medical missions, and the distribution of food packs and information materials.

The teams also conducted visitations to Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs) to encourage rehabilitation and community reintegration.

The remaining 81 activities involved law enforcement operations. These included patrol and visibility activities, police assistance, “Oplan Bulabog/Galugad” operations, and the enforcement of local city ordinances.

These operations were specifically aimed at maintaining safety, deterring crime, and ensuring public order in the covered communities.

Silvio stressed that the R-PSB initiative remains a vital component of the QCPD’s commitment to “Serbisyong Tapat at may Malasakit.”

“Through consistent community engagement and proactive law enforcement, QCPD reaffirms its dedication to promoting peace, order, and public trust throughout Quezon City,” Silvio said, adding that the program fosters safer, more resilient, and united communities.
