SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Subic hosted the Collector’s Conference for the month of October at Kamana Sanctuary Resort and Spa on 24 October 2025.
The conference discussed operational strategies, best practices, and policy directions aligned with the Bureau’s 5-Point Priority Program and the directives of Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno.
According to BOC Port of Subic District Collector Noel C. Estanislao, the meeting served as a vital platform for inter-port coordination, performance evaluation, and strategic planning aimed at enhancing customs operations, promoting transparency, and sustaining organizational efficiency.

The conference reviewed the performance of 17 collection districts and groups, focusing on achieving or surpassing revenue targets. The group also discussed the agency’s strategic direction in line with the administration’s agenda and guidance from the Department of Finance.
These conferences serve as a crucial venue for leadership to communicate priorities and for district collectors to share insights and best practices from their respective operational areas.
In his closing message, Commissioner Nepomuceno reaffirmed the Bureau’s unified commitment to deliver on its mandate and uphold professionalism, accountability, and public service — all in support of the Bagong Pilipinas vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
