Nearly 1k police deployed in south MM for Undas 2025

Nearly a thousand police officers have been deployed across Southern Metro Manila to help maintain peace and order in the observance of Undas 2025, the Southern Police District (SPD) said.
Under the security plan, SPD deployed 968 officers to monitor cemeteries, columbaria, transport hubs, and other crowded areas in Makati, Taguig, Pasay, Parañaque, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, and the municipality of Pateros.
Of this number, 691 are in cemeteries and columbaria, 162 in malls, parks, and churches, and 115 are in transport terminals such as bus stations, train platforms, and airports.
An additional 449 personnel from other government agencies including the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Coast Guard, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, and local government units were also deployed, alongside 3,347 force multipliers to aid in traffic management, crowd control, and emergencies.
SPD reminded visitors during the observance to follow protocols, remain vigilant, and report suspicious activities to nearby police stations.
