Actor Chris Evans announced he is now a dad.

The Hollywood star is best known for his role as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and his wife Alba Baptista, have welcomed their first child, People Magazine confirmed.

Baptista gave birth on 24 October in Massachusetts. A source told Elle that the couple is “enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family with their baby.”

Evans, 42, and Portuguese actress Baptista, 27, tied the knot on September 23, 2023, after being romantically linked since November 2022. Alba Baptista is known for her work in the Netflix series Warrior Nun and has quickly become a rising star in international cinema.
