Around 700 personnel have been deployed in Parañaque City to ensure security, safety, and order during the observance of Undas 2025, the city government announced on Wednesday.
The city’s inter-agency task force, which focuses on traffic management, crowd control, public assistance, and waste collection, will oversee operations in four major cemeteries: Manila Memorial Park, Loyola Memorial Park, Parañaque Catholic Cemetery, and Himlayang Palanyag.
According to Parañaque Police Chief Col. Nicolas S. Piñon, a total of 392 police officers have been deployed, supported by 100 members of the Traffic and Parking Management Office, 150 personnel from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office, and 29 operatives from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA). Barangay officials will also assist as force multipliers.
A strict ban has been imposed on prohibited items such as bladed weapons, firearms, alcoholic beverages, loud sound systems, flammable materials, illegal drugs, and gambling paraphernalia.
Pets are also not allowed inside cemeteries, except in Loyola Memorial Park under conditions set by the park’s management.
Burial operations at Himlayang Palanyag are suspended from 28 October to 3 November.
Authorities advised the public to plan their cemetery visits early and cooperate with law enforcement personnel to ensure a safe and orderly observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days.
