Ambassador Endo attended the 2025 7th Philippine National Kendo Tournament at GameVille Ball Park in Mandaluyong City on 25 October 2025. The event was also attended by United Kendo Federation of the Philippines (UKFP) President Mr. Kristopher Inting, Malaysia Kendo Association President Mr. Christopher Wong, and Indonesia Kendo Association President Mr. Marcel Oesman.
In his remarks, Ambassador Endo congratulated the UKFP for the successful hosting of the tournament. He also offered words of encouragement to the competing Kendokas, commending their grit and determination in not only mastering this traditional Japanese martial art, but in upholding values like discipline, respect, and dignity that make Kendo so universal.
Held from 25 to 26 October 2025, the 7th PNKT brought together over 200 Kendo practitioners, judges, referees, teachers, and enthusiasts from all over the world to celebrate Kendo’s growing popularity in the Philippines and across the globe.
