Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Acting District Director P/Col. Randy Glenn Silvio on Sunday led a Simultaneous Showdown Inspection of Forces and Equipment at the QCPD Grandstand, Camp Karingal, in preparation for upcoming protest rallies.
The activity supports key initiatives of the Acting Chief of PNP on resource management and the NCRPO’s “ABLE” program, which aim to assess the readiness of all police units for the 2nd Trillion Peso March scheduled on 30 November 2025.
The inspection evaluated the readiness, discipline, and capability of QCPD personnel and resources, covering operational assets including buses, trucks, mobile patrol cars, Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) equipment, drones, body-worn cameras, and the command vehicle used for field coordination.
Specialized units such as the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine (EOD/K9) teams also demonstrated their preparedness, displaying assault rifles, ballistic shields, Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRADs), Explosive Detection Dogs (EDDs), and EOD robots.
“The QCPD is always prepared to serve and protect. We ensure that our personnel, equipment, and resources are fully ready to effectively and professionally respond to any situation during public assemblies,” Silvio said.
